On the world famous Country Music Awards show, Wednesday, Nov 12, on ABC,
UCWDC dancers Rex and Rachel Jones, Toby and Harmony Monroe and Nicola
Royston will be dancing in three routines choreographed by Robert Royston,
including Taylor Swift's number as well as Kellie Pickler and Sugarland's
performances! Don't miss it!

Robert's choreography is also featured on GAC's "The making of the video
'Love Story'" by Taylor Swift with Rex and Rachel dancing.

I just watched my recording of the CMA's. I only saw the dancers
during the Taylor Swift song, not during the other two numbers that
were mentioned (unless they are the ones that set the umbrellas on
stage at the beginning of Sugarland's song). Nicola Royston was the
only one I was able to recognize, since the camera operators showed
her face a lot.

Yes, I saw Rex & Rachel, and Toby & Harmony this weekend in Dallas at the
Dallas Dance festival and they told me the Pickler number was cut because
the producers thought it was "too big".
Apparently the dancing was more show than the song, which would never be a
good thing for a show that is for the music industry to begin with. They
specifically asked for a period piece for the Swift performance and while I
am proud of the job Robert and my country cousins did, the show probably
could have gone with any professional dancer and no one would have ever
known the difference.
There wasn't anything "country" about the piece, but I'm still happy some of
my friends got in on the action.
I didn't ask the question because I was busy with other things but I assumed
that all the spouses danced together. They did more make up and hair on the
guys and it made them look much more different than the ladies. I know Rex
told me they shaved a little bit of his hair of his neckline and glued it to
his face for sideburns. Toby wore a wig.
I'll have to watch my DVR again to see if I can pick out Robert. The guy
Nicola danced with seemed to be too tall to be Robert, but I know TV can
play tricks with body shapes and sizes.
