So it's fine for you to state your opinions and discuss these "just
cartoons." But the rest of us?

What I said, or at least what I thought I said, that everyone, including me
has the right to have and express their own opinion. I don't think I ever
said that the rest of you could or could not express your own opinion...or
do or not do anything else for that matter. Unless it is of course against
the law, but I can't really stop you from doing that if you really wanted
to, and I really hope you don't.

Then why the worry about us discussing the world view or implications of
Naruto filler upon the canon plot?

Well here I am in filler land with what appears to be a tribute to
Westerns. Truth to tell, I still like it better than the Naruto
episodes before the filler. However I do have trouble figuring out
how a bounty hunter would be able to make a living with all those
ninja around doing the same job. The competition would be murder.
Hinata still has a bad case of useless girl syndrome.

In the second half (Shootout at the OK Temple) Hinata managed to hit a
few disposable goons. Low point of the episode was when the bad guy
dropped what appeared to be a solid gold temple bell onto a wooden
boat to steal it. I was more disappointed than I can say that the
bell didn't just drop right through it.
