Very interesting. I have an old 170 l Bic Samba in retirement. This
might be a way to give it new life, and it's delaminated seam should
not matter.

Another re-use: I had a couple of real old 80's boards in the
backyard. I put them in free ads (Kijiji) for $20. To my surprise,
many takers !

Some for floating at the cottage, one guys wanted to build a raft, one
wanted to build a tandem board (!!).

Good recycling that, better than to the garbage can. Worst case, give
them away - ads are free at Kijiji and Craigslist.

Wasn't the Samba 160 liters? I had one with a repaired nose that was
stolen from me more than a decade ago.

Should have given up the sport at that point, Brucie.
