My youngest called me about 20min ago to tell me that my almost 20 year old
Tasco World Class scope is a lost cause. When he went to unscrew the windage
cap he got cap, innards, and short tube all in his hand. Oh well!!!
I'll call Tasco tomorrow but I'm not going to expect much from them. I
suspect my scope was one of the "good glass" and IF they do anything they
will give me a brand new shiny pretty piece of crap in exchange. I wish
they'd give me money I can use towards another Leupold.
The rifle is a short carbine and I'd like to replace the scope with a very
low power to mid range zoom. I'd really like a 1.5-7x40mm(or maybe even
50mm). Suggestions or comments are welcomed.
