My husband and I recently visited Colonial Williamsburg. We had lunch
at the King's Arms Tavern. I had "a made dish of beef," which was
beef cooked in a red wine sauce with pearl onions and carrots. It was
served over the most delicious mashed potatoes. I have looked
everywhere and can't find the recipe or one like it. If anyone out
there has one, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Danish recipe

I'm looking for a danish recipe that uses a pastry that when finished
looks as if it is uncooked. When I tasted them they were called Colorado
Danish's and were filled with cream cheese. It is the pastry recipe that
has me stumped. The finished product is pale white like unbaked pie
crust...but I was told that it is cooked. If anyone has any idea or a
recipe for this type of pastry dough...I would greatly appreciate it.
