My cat is named Helgriff
When people ask me the name of my cat...they usually ask me to repeat the
name...
and in most instances they need me to spell it out in order to get it right.
However, two of my friends, upon hearing the name...
not only got it right the first time.
Word for word, they made the exact comment:
"Sounds Nordic."
The thing that I thought odd, is that both of these men
are dating the same women.
So my theory is that the woman must have an affinity for men who
readily perceive Nordic cat names.
Can't be too many people like that.
FWIW: The woman herself is quite an odd ball.
One year at an open house here, she saw that I had an old horse-shoe hanging
on the wall.
She talked at length about horse-shoes and horses in general.
An impressive knowledge of the subject.
I then asked her how old she was when she first started riding.
She replied that she had never actually been on a horse,
but has published two books on collecting plastic , model horses. |

Please explain how that makes her an odd-ball. It is not necessary to be
a jockey to know about horses or the racing industry.

I think she is an odd ball for dating two different men...
and both men made the same comment about my cat's name.
A very odd coincidence I think. |
