I have three parts, Oboe, English Horn, and Bassoon.

The English Horn and the Bassoon are in an accompaniment pattern like so:

Eng Hn: r F r F r F r F

Bn: Bb g Bb g Bb g Bb g

such that single Bbs (first line bass clef) are sounding on the beats, and
the G/F dyad (as a 7th, top space G in Bn, first space F in Eng Hn) on the
up beats.

I have an Oboe melody that comes from higher notes, to a sustianed F - the
same F as the Eng Hn is "upbeating".

Do you think the F in the Eng Hn will be too "covered" - or will it simply
make the Oboe's F "pulsate" on the upbeats?

I'm worried that the effect of the upbeat Fs might get lost, which by the
way has been presaged in the previous measure (where the oboe's notes are
not in conflict).

Other than the obvious "change the notes" solution, what do we think about
this particular arrangement?

Thanks,
Steve
