Shed Art- the paintings of Will Dockery
Various paintings made by Will Dockery, mixed media, early 2000s
This project is unfinished, but off to a good start.
Dockery I've got more talent
You claim to have some talent other than your obvious one for
obsessive whining... and I look forward to seeing some example of it.
Dockery my talents have won me three -- actually, FOUR -- awards in two
years.
|
I've seen those... at the Kook website.
Heh.

I'm talking about awards that actually mean something, you delusional dunce.
Awards that are on my resume and hang at my desk. Awards that recognize me
among my peers and professionals as good at being what I do. You know, what
you will never ever accomplish ever in your entire life? |

Well, when I checked the archives for Georgia Press Association and
Alex Cain, I see that you are a noted newspaper writer in Milledgeville
Georgia, so I stand corrected... here's an excerpt from the archives-
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.sport.pro-wrestling/msg/1f47c795957b10b0?hl=en
...I went over to that little newspaper website, and damn if
he isn't making a fine living doing some real life shit that he
actually went to college for (and we actually know he really *did* go to
college, unlike others).
Say what you want, but that's some pretty successful shit.
Congratulations Alex, I underestimated you. In all seriousness, that's some
shit you can really be proud of.
There's a little article there that mentions him and it actually has the
following passage:
Also moving is Alexander Cain.
Cain had originally been doing the general assignment beat, but now will
begin to juggle a little more with the addition of the business beat.
"This is kind of an enlargement of his beat," Mathews said. "One of Alex's
big strengths is his accuracy and willingness to do pretty much any story
that you stick in front of him. That makes him an ideal candidate for the
general assignment beat. I am absolutely certain that he will take general
assignment and business and run with them to produce some of the strongest
stories in the newspaper."
That's some cool shit right there.
Well done Alex, you made it thru college and actually got yourself a nice
little job. That's some cool shit for people that have known you since you
were in high school...
----
This was really interesting, and I look forward to seeing some of your
writing.

I actually *did* work for both Papa John's and Pizza Hut -- but eventually,
I realized that working in the food/restaurant industry is total shit. It's
good for some, not good for others. My career plans (Duckery has none) did
not put me in the pizza business for the rest of my life, unlike some loser
hippie-dippie shithead poet-pretender wanna-bes from Columbus I could name
but would probably cough up phlegm if I did. |

I agree being stuck inside one of those places must have been pretty
bad for you, and since you didn't drive back then, delivery wasn't an
option. Cooking definitely isn't my idea of a good time, but being on
the road constantly for almost two decades has been for me.

Parnello's Pizza is a hand-tossed, [[Chicago-style pizza|Chicago-
style]] pizzeria in Columbus, Georgia with the original
location on Gunboat Drive, now closed. The current location is at
5828 Moon Road, 706-569-7272.
Founded in 2006 by Parnell Robinson former manger-cook at
Pizza Roma in Columbus, Georgia, when Will Dockery watched
Robinson running the pizzeria single-handedly and suggested he buy his
own brick oven, print some flyer, and do it
himself. Robinson now makes all the food himself, from scratch,
employing friends to operate Parnello's, which is best known for the
Tarzan pie, a kitchen sink the works pizza. While at first
Parnello's focused on the concept of keeping it simple, which the
owner of Pizza Roma claims was the key to that pizzeria's success, of
serving only pizza and soft drinks, with additional menu items such as
Buffalo Wings and Lasagna added slowly and cautiously,
Parnello's in recent months has begun adding a wide variety of foods,
including the rarely available by delivery Southern style menu
items, with plans being made to locally challenge Steak-Out with a
steak and baked potato menu item available for delivery.
Parnello's Pizza has scored 100 for the last two years of inspections
from the Columbus Department of Public Health.
